Terms of service

Last updated 13 October 2026

These are the rules for using Reflect. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. They are written to be read, not to catch you out.

What Reflect is

Reflect is a personal journaling app: a place to record your mood, write about your day, keep goals, and take notes on a calendar. It is a tool for reflection, not a medical or therapeutic service.

Your account

You need an account to write in Reflect. Keep your password to yourself and use your own account — you are responsible for what happens under it. You must be at least 13 years old to use Reflect.

Your writing is yours

Everything you write in Reflect belongs to you. You give Reflect only the permission it needs to store your entries and show them back to you — nothing more. Your entries are never published or shared with other users.

The AI therapist

The AI therapist is a supportive companion. It is not a therapist, a doctor, or a substitute for professional care, and it cannot diagnose anything or advise you on medication. It can be wrong, and its replies should not be treated as medical advice.

If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself, please contact emergency services or a crisis line right away — in the US you can call or text 988. Reflect is not monitored, and nobody will see a message in time to help.

Purchases

Unlocking the AI therapist is a one-time payment of $3. There is no subscription and nothing renews. Donations are optional and voluntary, and they do not unlock anything — they simply help keep Reflect running.

Payments are handled on a secure checkout page. If a purchase did not work out, email ThatFellaOnb@gmail.com and I will refund it.

Using Reflect fairly

Please do not use Reflect to break the law, to harm or harass anyone, or to attack or overload the service. Accounts used that way may be closed.

Availability and changes

Reflect is run by one person and is offered as it is. Features may change, and there may be times when the app is unavailable. Nothing here promises that the service will always be running or that any particular feature will always exist.

Ending your use

You can delete your account at any time in Settings, or email me and I will close it for you.

Liability

Reflect is provided without warranties, and to the extent the law allows, I am not liable for indirect losses arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have that cannot be waived.
